Floraleda wurde in Como (Italien) geboren und ließ sich von Annie Challans Aufnahmen für die Harfe inspirieren. Sie studierte bei Como Konservatorium und perfektionierte ihr Spiel in Deutschland, USA und Kanada mit Alice Giles, Alice Chalifoux und Judy Loman. Mit 21 Jahren gewann sie den Harpa Award (Prag, 1999). Floraleda Sacchi wird von Kritikern als eine der interessantesten und originellsten Harfenistinnen angesehen.

Floroleda trat als Solistin mit mehreren Orchestern auf (Neubrandenburger Philharmonie, Camerata Portuguesa, Milli Reasurans Oda Orkestrasi, Orchester Regionale Toscana, Wuhan Philharmonie, Orchester Sinfonica di Roma usw.). Sie war Solistin mit dem Orchestra Giovanile Italiana im international gesendeten Weihnachtskonzert. Im Jahr 2014 nahm sie ein Konzert von Manuel De Sica mit Filarmonica Toscanini auf. 2016 Premiere eines Konzertes, das ihr von Grammy-Gewinnerin-Komponistin Claudia Montero gewidmet wurde. Sie schuf die Musik für das Milan Planetarium und für das Theaterstück „Donna non rieducabile“. Die Show – die hatte mehr als 150 Aufführungen (vom Europäischen Parlament in Brüssel, bis zu den wichtigsten italienischen Theatern) – wurde von RAI 2 verfilmt, der auf dem 66. Filmfestival von Venedig präsentiert und auf DVD von PromoMusik produziert ist.. Sie gibt regelmäßig Meisterkurse in Europa, den USA und Kanada.

Floraleda appeared as soloist with several orchestras (Neubrandenburger Philharmonie, Camerata Portuguesa, Milli Reasürans Oda Orkestrasi, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Wuhan Philharmonic, Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma ecc.). She was soloist also with the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana in for the Christmas’ Concert broadcasted internationally by tv.
In 2014 she recorded a new concerto by Manuel De Sica with Filarmonica Toscanini published by Brilliant Classics. In 2016 premier a concerto dedicated to her by two Grammy winner composer Claudia Montero. Curious and lively she plays classical music, but she acted widely in electronic music and composed for theatre and cinema. She created the music for Milan Planetarium and for the play “Donna non rieducabile”. The show – which had more than 150 performances (including the European Parliament in Brussels to main Italian theaters) – was transformed by RAI 2 into a movie presented at the 66th Venice Film Festival and published in DVD by PromoMusic.
She regularly gives masterclasses in Europe, the United States and Canada. When 21, she won the Harpa Award (Prague, 1999) for her book on Elias Parish Alvars, a Romantic author for whom she is still considered the reference expert. She has written several articles appeared on major harp journals (American Harp Journal, Harpa, World Harp Congress Review) contributing to expand and discover Harp repertoire.
