Ibague musician graduated from the Music Conservatory of Tolima as a violinist- teacher in music. He also received bachelor ´s degree in music at the University of Caldas. Has been an instructor of violin for teachers on the Atlantic coast designated by the Ministry of Culture and on several occasions was jury in national competitions of traditional Colombian music.

He won a scholarship from the Colombian government for technical development and interpretation of the violin held in Berlin, Germany. It has been a soloist with: the Symphony Orchestra of Colombia, Colombia Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra Franck Preuss, Chamber Orchestra, I Musici, Chamber Orchestra of the University of Tolima, Risaralda Departmental Banda, and IEMAMP Symphony Orchestra. It has also developed its work as a musician being Colombian music arranger for the new national symphony orchestra and chamber orchestra I Musici.

His work as director of the master classes start receiving Germain Gutiérrez. He won the first competition for young conductors of the symphony orchestra of Colombia issued by the master Alejandro Posada. He has also studied with teachers’ direction Henry Schaefer, Michael Costello, Rodolfo Sanglimbeni, David Mackenzy, Lior Shambadal.

It has been chief conductor of the orchestra baton „THE ACADEMY“, FOUNDER OF THE CHAMBER ORCHESTRA „Corelli“-ASAB, to address Colombia’s symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra I Musici, IEMAMP symphony orchestra, in August 2008 was to by the German chamber orchestra Ensemble BACH-leizig doing a concert tourin major cities of Guatemala and Honduras.

Also was in charge of the artistic direction of the concert of British singer Paul Potts in Bogota and an invitation to direct the Philharmonic Choir Honduras in September 2009. Today is a violinist with the National Symphony, assistant director of string chamber orchestra “FRANK PREUSS” and chief conductor of the chamber orchestra “CORAM DEO”.
